This project delivered a full renovation of an existing deck, keeping the original beams and posts while rebuilding everything else for a stronger, safer outdoor space. We replaced all joists, decking, railings, and stairs with new pressure-treated materials and installed an under-deck waterproofing system with a finished beadboard ceiling. The deck received diagonal boards, upgraded metal railings, repaired brick areas, and fresh stain and waterproofing to extend durability. Lighting was upgraded with riser lights, new sconces, a ceiling fan, and can lights beneath the deck for better nighttime use. Structural integrity was confirmed and reinforced where needed. The project wrapped with a full cleanup, walkthrough, and punch list, delivering a code-compliant deck the homeowners can actually enjoy.
