Jonny serves as a project manager at J&R, bringing a unique blend of experience, craftsmanship, and people-focused problem solving to the team. Before transitioning into construction, he taught Special Education in Fayette County, an experience that shaped his ability to communicate clearly and adapt to individual needs.

Jonny’s foundation in the trades comes from his father—an architect, builder, and educator—who passed down both technical knowledge and a respect for quality work. Prior to joining J&R, Jonny ran his own gutter business and completed custom woodworking projects, further sharpening his hands-on expertise.

At his core, Jonny sees himself as a facilitator—someone who uses his skills and perspective to help people get what they truly need. Outside of work, he’s a proud husband and father of three. His wife, a talented painter, runs Lily Field Studio in Lexington. Together, they stay rooted in the local community, along with their dog Turkish, named after his love for coffee.
