Maddison is our Marketing Coordinator. She handles creating and maintaining our social media content and presence, working closely with the president and upper management to organize and execute marketing plans and processes.

Maddison lives in Lexington with her family and enjoys reading, writing, art, music, traveling and photography. She spends lots of time with her sisters and friends, and enjoys going on spontaneous trips to Baskin Robbins.

Grace is our Project Interior Designer at our Lexington Kentucky office. She recently graduated in December of 2021, from WKU with a Bachelors in Interior Design. Grace enjoys meeting with our clients and helping them bring their ideas to life!
Grace grew up in Nicholasville, KY. She recently bought a home in Georgetown with her fiancé and they plan to get married in September of this year. When Grace is not working, she loves to spend time with friends and family. She also enjoys hiking and playing pick up sand Volleyball. We are thrilled to have her on Lexington’s Design Team!

Lindsey is our Controller & Office Manager. She takes care of our bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll for both of our locations in Lexington and Owensboro. Lindsey also oversees the general daily operations of the Lexington office by supervising the administrative department.

Lindsey was born and raised in Kentucky. She has over 15 years of Office Management & Accounting experience. Lindsey is a mother of three, who enjoys spending time with her family and friends. When Lindsey is not working, she enjoys fishing, camping and spending time with her Grandfather on his farm.

Shellie is the Lead Intake Specialist for J&R. When you call, she is the first person you will talk to. She looks forward to talking to you and getting you scheduled throughout your project.

Shellie comes to Kentucky via the West Coast. She was born in Los Angeles California and then lived in Northern California, Oregon & Washington. She graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Art and prior to that obtained her Associates Degree in Business. She moved to Kentucky in 2020 and has fallen in love with the beauty of the state.

 

When she’s not at work she enjoys exploring Lexington and the surrounding area with her dog Henry. She also loves to do woodworking, create artwork, cook, read, and spend time with friends and family.

Mike had recently come out of retirement to join the team as our Project Coordinator before taking over our Production Manager role.  He has over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry as an operator and developer.  He has owned, designed, equipped, and built restaurants in Kentucky, Ohio, and on the East Coast (from North Carolina to Maine).

Mike‘s involvement in your project begins during the design phase and stretches into the beginning of the production phase.  You may not see Mike often, but he will be working behind the scenes to ensure that material for your project is delivered in a timely manner.
Mike‘s oldest son lives in Austin, TX and his youngest in Los Angeles, CA. His twin daughters live on Long Island and in Quito Ecuador, so he travels frequently. When not working or traveling you will find him volunteering at charity golf tournaments or working in his yard.

Brittney handles almost every aspect of our client’s project. From drawings, designs, getting estimates, proposals, helping clients make selections – she quite literally, coordinates it all.

She is there from the start of your project all the way till the end and always ready to lend a helping hand and answer any questions you may have.

Brittney has a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from EKU and an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Technology from BCTC. She attended high school in San Diego, California where she became interested in construction while taking a project “Lead The Way” class. Brittney is married, has two dogs, and just bought a house.

Baley is a project designer in our Lexington office. She is there to help clients begin and finish the design phase of projects and to make the process as seamless as possible.  She loves drawing and designing plans to help the client visualize and see their ideas become reality. 
When Baley is not at work, she is either in class or working on homework. She is a student at BCTC and will graduate in May of 2022 with an Associates of Science degree as well as an Associates degree in Architectural Technology. In her free time, Baley enjoys reading, sewing, and driving to her hometown of Glasgow, KY to visit her family and friends.

Luke is one of our Lead Carpenters. As a lead carpenter, you can almost guarantee you will see him at some point throughout the remodeling process. Our carpenters play such a big role in the work that gets done and their role is crucial in getting jobs complete.

Luke is originally from Minneapolis MN. He is married with two young children, and enjoys outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. He began his career in 2010 as a painter and drywaller, specializing in fire and water damage restoration. He moved to Kentucky in 2017, from there, he got more into the home reconstruction and remodeling process.

Jonathan is one of J&R’s Lead Carpenters. His goal is to take other young carpenters under him and guide them through the world of carpentry.

Jonathan was born in San Diego, but spent most of his life in Arkansas until he moved to Kentucky 3 years ago. He recently got married to his wife Dana, they have a cat named Kuzco and a dog named Stella. In his spare time, he enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, Disc Golf, and kayaking.

Lynn has a long background in home improvement. Lynn’s experience encompasses every area of remodeling. He has worked for over 30 years with his father as an Electrician, his brother in remodeling, and now he and his son are master cabinet builders. Lynn designed kitchens and bathrooms for several years first with a major home supply company. He now brings that knowledge to J&R Construction.

He brings the passion and attention to detail that he insists on in his own custom work to the designs that he provides our clients. Clients love that Lynn is with them and guiding them from the very beginning of the process through to completion.

He is ever patient and always willing to help and listen. Lynn and his wife, Angie, live in Georgetown and have two children.

In his spare time, you may find him relaxing around a campfire with family and friends, working on a project at his church, or crafting an improvement to his 106-year-old home.
