April is the main point of contact in our Lexington office, she handles all administrative duties and schedules appointments for clients that want to begin the remodeling process.

April was born and raised in Nicholasville, KY. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and earned an MBA from Sullivan University.

When April is not at work, she is enjoying married life with her husband as well as hanging out with her friends, family, and her fur babies.

Grace is our Project Interior Designer at our Lexington Kentucky office. She graduated from WKU with a Bachelors in Interior Design. Grace enjoys meeting with our clients and helping them bring their ideas to life!

Grace grew up in Nicholasville, KY. She now lives in Georgetown, KY with her husband. When Grace is not working, she loves to spend time with friends and family. She also enjoys hiking and playing pick up sand volleyball. We are thrilled to have her on Lexington’s Design Team!

Lorraine is the Human Resource Manager for J&R and the Office Manager for J&R’s Owensboro office. She handles the administrative duties and is the first point of contact for our clients. She is also our company’s human resources manager. 

She comes to Kentucky via Canada and Michigan, and brings with her a diverse background of administration, marketing, and project coordination related to new home construction. Lorraine enjoys cooking for her husband, Adam, and her colleagues. She loves all animals including her rescue cats, dogs, and birds; she hopes one day to have chickens and a goat or two at their property in Calhoun!

Mike had recently come out of retirement to join the team as our Project Coordinator before taking over our Production Manager role.  He has over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry as an operator and developer.  He has owned, designed, equipped, and built restaurants in Kentucky, Ohio, and on the East Coast (from North Carolina to Maine).

Mike‘s involvement in your project begins during the middle of the design phase and will be present until the completion of your project.  You’ll see Mike from time to time visiting your project to ensure that it is running in a timely manner, and that you are happy with the final product. 
Mike‘s oldest son lives in Austin, TX and his youngest in Los Angeles, CA. His twin daughters live on Long Island and in Quito Ecuador, so he travels frequently. When not working or traveling you will find him volunteering at charity golf tournaments or working in his yard.

Brittney handles almost every aspect of our client’s project. From drawings, designs, getting estimates, proposals, helping clients make selections – she quite literally, coordinates it all.

She is there from the start of your project all the way till the end and always ready to lend a helping hand and answer any questions you may have.

Brittney has a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from EKU and an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Technology from BCTC. She attended high school in San Diego, California where she became interested in construction while taking a project “Lead The Way” class. Brittney is married, has two dogs, and has lived in five different states.

Kyle is one of our project managers and will be with you through the production side of your project. His knowledge of construction helps him manage our trades and assist on your projects. He also has a corgi and loves to fish in his spare time.

Trudy is a Project Manager here at J&R Construction in Lexington. She oversees and manages jobs and helps ensure clients dreams are fulfilled by project completion. Trudy enjoys getting to work in a team atmosphere and helping clients check items off their home remodeling checklist.

Trudy grew up in Melbourne, Fl. She now lives in Nicholasville, KY. Trudy has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in music. On the weekends she enjoys being with family and friends, playing the piano, watching movies, or playing cards. She has a cute aussiedoodle named Bailey.

Lynn has a long background in home improvement. Lynn’s experience encompasses every area of remodeling. He has worked for over 30 years with his father as an Electrician, his brother in remodeling, and now he and his son are master cabinet builders. Lynn designed kitchens and bathrooms for several years first with a major home supply company. He now brings that knowledge to J&R Construction.

He brings the passion and attention to detail that he insists on in his own custom work to the designs that he provides our clients. Clients love that Lynn is with them and guiding them from the very beginning of the process through to completion.

He is ever patient and always willing to help and listen. Lynn and his wife, Angie, live in Georgetown and have two children.

In his spare time, you may find him relaxing around a campfire with family and friends, working on a project at his church, or crafting an improvement to his 106-year-old home.
