A.C. Kitchen

Project Overview

The original kitchen did not have a ton of counter space or room to entertain. It was closed off to the dining room next door and therefore the dining room did not get used a lot. They had a current eat in area in the kitchen that primarily was used for dining space. These clients wanted a larger island with seating and more storage space in the kitchen. To do this, we removed the two pantries and desk area in between the kitchen and dining room. This made room for new built in pantry storage and a large island for entertaining. This kitchen is unique compared to some of our other kitchens as far as cabinet style. The doors are inset and the toe kick is flush instead of recessed. This creates more of a furniture/built in feel and makes it feel cozier. The light wood tones on the perimeter bring in a lighter feel around the kitchen while the black island grounds the space and draws you into the center of the room. By doing quartz countertops and full height backsplash, it ties the space together seamlessly and makes the kitchen feel timeless.
